How do I begin my nutritional journey? Anti-inflammatory, gut-healing starter pack here:

Here is my go-to grocery list that prioritizes protein intake, healthy carbs, and fats that will help with fat loss and build a healthy body composition:

  • Sources of protein: Ground turkey (tastes just like regular beef when seasoned well-"Siete" brand's taco seasoning is awesome), GRASS-FED/organic BEEF (healthiest type of red meat), Salmon, Shrimp, Tuna. Greek yogurt (plain) (watch out for other brands with added sugars and other additives), Protein powder (vanilla is a great flavor for any protein shakes you make & ISOPURE is an awesome whey brand that I use), Protein bars (No cow, PowerCrunch, and RX bars are some that I consume that taste good and are lower in sugar). Don't forget Organic/Cage-free Eggs :)

  • Sources of healthy CARBS: Brown rice (instead of white or any other rice), Quinoa, Legumes (lentils, edamame, beans, or chickpeas!), Sweet potato, Fruits (berries, bananas, citrus fruits), Oatmeal.

  • Sources of healthy FATS: Avocado, Vegetable oils (I stick to Avocado oil and Olive oil), Nuts and seeds (Chia seeds-can be used in smoothies or yogurt or oatmeal, Almonds, Walnuts, Peanuts, Sunflower seeds, Brazil nuts, Pecans).

  • Other items: Ginger and turmeric shots (can also purchase the roots and add to smoothies or meals), Cauliflower pizza (GREAT hack to swap for regular frozen pizza), Kefir (I like to buy flavors like strawberry to mix with my matcha powder or use as a milk base for my smoothies-does contain a bit of sugar), Greens (Spinach blends, Kale, Brussel sprouts, Green beans, or Green powders-"Vital Proteins" has an awesome green apple flavored one).

**Buy your groceries this way and you will feel lighter, clear-minded, digesting better, less aches and pains. It is also very likely this will help with skin blemishes, weight or fat loss, and muscle gain!! Remember to try to eat for energy and fuel 5 days a week, then treat yourself on the weekends.
